A little freebie plug for Panasonic, the SoundStage!
crew (Marc Mickelson, Jim Causey and Doug Blackburn) pose in the Las Vegas Convention
Center.

PS Audio's Paul McGowan shows off the new Lab cable,
which uses heavily shielded six-gauge conductors. It can be made into either a power cord
or speaker cable. Price is $50 per foot plus $100 for termination as either type of cable.
If lengths are greater than 20 feet, the price per foot is $35.

Mike VansEvers holding his Triple Beam Tone
Balancing interconnect, which comes in three versions: "warm,"
"neutral" and "detailed." Cost is $200 per one-meter pair.

Let the show begin! Trevor DeMaat of Kharma USA
starts opening the crates to begin setting up. As always, Kharma is displaying with Lamm
Industries.

Flying to the CES is rarely easy. Doug Schneider was
stranded at the airport in his own city. Because of a mechanical problem, Doug had to wait
for five hours. However, Ottawa, Canada Internet company Skylink saved the day with their
new wireless network card (from Nokia) that allows Internet connections in airports and
hotels. They kindly lent the use of it for the long wait.
