Roy Hall of Music Hall featured the re-introduced line of EPOS loudspeakers, now
manufactured under new Creek ownership. On the left is the M15 floorstander now priced at
$1295 per pair, a $500 price reduction. The stand-mounted M12 is now $795, a $300
price reduction. This is great news for budget-minded audiophiles! The turntable is
the new Music Hall MMF-5, $499 including tonearm and Goldring cartridge.

The Boulder 1060 amp, 300Wpc with impeccable machine-worked chassis, goes for $18,500.
Note the rather impressively sized power-cord connector in blue.

Slide the lid back (yes, it does slide on guides!)
and you see a clean, efficient internal layout.

Boulder's new 1012 DAC-Preamp will be available in early March for approximately
$15,000. It features true 24-bit performance and is claimed to be the first digital
product where all imaging in the passband is rejected by at least 144dB. It can process
digital up to 192 kHz. When an analog source is selected, digital circuits are turned off
automatically. The array of performance and convenience features is extensive.

The Sphinx Project 8 two-piece preamp ($8000) features a .5dB stepped attenuator, fully
balanced circuitry, input-sensitivity matching for each input, and auto muting during
input switching.

Bybee does video too. The S-Video cable uses Monster Cable wire and has filters on
both lines, $600. F-connector filters are $300 each, and BNC-terminated coax for RGB
or component connections are $300 each.
