Hi-Fi Forum, North American distributor of a number
of European brands, put together a system based on two of the lines they carry. A massive
Audio Analogue Maestro integrated amp (around $4000 when available) and Maestro CD player
($1995) drove Finyl .4 speakers ($4995 per pair) to produce sound that could best be
described as delicate. AB cables, another European brand, rounded out this
system, which was simple, elegant and offered sound quality far beyond its price point.
And the gear looks cool too!
