An inside view of the the Perpetual Technologies P-1A DSP-based loudspeaker-correction system, which claims to correct phase and amplitude deviations of your chosen loudspeaker. It will be available in August at $950 for the engine and $399 for the speaker-dependent correction software.
The Marantz PD-4280 is a 42" plasma display that can accept sources up 1080i, which are downsampled to the native 480p mode. The price is $13,999.
The Winter's Tale Apollo Chair ($3450 with separate Denon amplifier and headphones, $3000 alone), billed as a "sound induction tactile auditory sensory recliner," allows you to hear and feel the music in a number of positions, including "zero gravity." It comes in a variety of color and finish combinations.
Heading Paradigm's new Reference Studio Series is the Studio/100 ($1900/pair in laminate, $2200 in finish shown), which boasts design improvements such as Cascade[TM] enclosures with more extensive bracing and "more precise crossovers."
