The Totem/
AudioPrism (along with others) room produced some great sound through the Totem Shaman
speakers ($11,000/pair), AudioPrism's very photogenic Mana monoblock amps ($15,000/pair),
an AudioPrism Mantissa Silver Signature preamp ($5500) and AudioPrism Mantissa phono stage
($4000). Totem provided Sinew interconnects and prototype speaker cables. Analog sound was
from the VPI Ares with VPI 'arm and van den Hul Black Beauty cartridge. The digital
source was Pink Triangle's Literal CD player. AudioPrism provided power conditioning with
their Power Foundation PLC, WaveGuide cable clamp-on filters and ACFX PLCs. Even with the
ever-present room problems, this system sounded detailed and balanced -- and truly
full-range.
