Always one to
provide great sound on a shoestring budget, Roy Hall didn't let us down at this Show. Epos
ES12 speakers ($1095/pair) were driven with a Creek 4330se integrated amp ($795). Source
material was analog, an MMF-2.2 prototype turntable ($299) fitted with a Goldring 1022GX
moving-magnet cartridge ($225). The system was harnessed with CableTalk cables. The sound
was 3-S (smooth, spacious and seductive) for far less than the cost of your car
(probably).
