The Show drew to a close, the SoundStagers were wiped, but Doug Schneider and Ian White (shown above) endured a $35 cab ride to find Ian's favorite comfort food -- Krispy Kreme donuts. "Gotta take 'em home to Canada," Ian kept muttering as the cab driver spun tales about 10 years of "seeing everything imaginable" in Las Vegas. In the end, Ian, after finishing two boxes of the devilishly good round delights, passed out in the corner of his room and mumbled something about "stinkin' root beer" and a certain waitress at the Hard Rock Cafe. Only 360 days to CES 2000.... |
