Quick, tight bass and super-fast transients -- all with an endearing naturalness -- were on display in the KR Enterprise room. Von Schweikert Research VR-6 speakers were driven by KR Enterprise VT 8000 MK monoblocks ($24,000 per pair) and KR Enterprise Model 1 preamp (around $7000). Also part of the system were the Helios Stargate CD player and Harmonic Technology interconnects, speaker cables, and power cords. KR Enterprise, a relative newcomer to North American audio, is based in the Czech Republic. SoundStage!
